Here is a vintage, Hotel Texas, silver soldered teapot/pitcher from the famous Hotel Texas in Ft Worth, Texas circa 1948. Made by International Silver Company. One side has the hotel logo and the other side says Hotel Texas Forth Worth. This hotel is renowned for being the last place that John F Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy stayed and he made his last address at the Crystal ballroom hours before his assassination. Now you can pour a beverage from a piece of that history.
Marks: IS International Silver Co Silver Soldered 051060C 10 oz and 48 inside a square indication the date of 1948 Patent 1637853
Measurements: approx 5 1/2" tall x 5" wide handle to spout and 3" diameter at its widest.
The pitcher is in good vintage condition especially for it's age and use. Show some signs of use such as light surface scratches and tiny marks that are inherent to silver soldered items. Slight bruise to handle, but doesn't detract from it's beauty or use. No obvious damage that I can see.
