Exquisite, antique, silver plate, epergne with figural griffin/ dragon by Martin Hall & Co circa 1854. This piece is amazing. The base is triangular with a beaded design that 3 decorated elephant heads sit atop. An aesthetic design pillar stands out from the elephant heads and holds 3, elaborate, dragon/ griffin arms with candle holder cups at the ends. At the very top sits the epergne bowl. Please read below for details on condition. This is a very solid piece, it weighs over 10 lbs! Amazing piece to add to your decor.
Measurements: approx 20" tall x 15" wide from one end of candle arm to the other. Base measures 9". Top bowl measures approx 8" diameter. *May be disassembled for ease of shipping

This epergne is in beautiful, antique condition. Has expected signs of age and use such as light surface scratches (or cuts), possible spots of tarnish and/or polish residue. Although still extremely shiny, there are some bruises and tiny dings (noticeable on the ball at the top) and a small flower is missing on one of the candelabra arms. The body leans slightly, but seems to stem from the top right underneath the ball area. This potentially could be fixed by a professional, but is still very lovely and usable as is. This is priced with all the flaws in mind. No other obvious damage.
