Vintage, large, US Navy, Silver Soldered, serving bowl/ dish circa 1942, WWII era. The dish is double handled with a rope design around the rim and has a foulded anchor with USN on one side. The serving bowl is very shiny and gorgeous and very solid.
Marks: Reed And Barton Silver Soldered 3000 10 at the top is a "V" indication the year 1942
Measurements: approx 12 1/2" long handle to handle, 10 1/2" without handles. 6 1/2" wide x 2" tall to top of rim.
This dish is in good vintage condition. Show some signs of age such as light surface scratches and the usual marks/ tiny dings inherent to silver soldered items. There is some slight wear to the engraved emblem. Super shiny and beautiful. No obvious damage that I can see.
