Saint Peter - Original Hand-Painted Oil on Gilded Panel
This piece is a hand-painted oil portrait of Saint Peter on a gilded wood panel. It is inspire replicated from an Italian polyptych painting by Siena, circa 1345. While it beautifully captures the spirit of the 14th-century original, please note that it is not an exact replica. It is a new painting of an old era, completely hand-painted by me, not a mass-produced item.
The artwork is housed in a heavily ornate wood frame that I have carefully hand-gilded with gold leaf and aged to match the antique aesthetic of the original era. The color palette features rich reds, oranges, blues, golds, browns, tans, and creams.
