Vintage, Silver Soldered, oval, serving platters by International Silver Co circa 1959. These types of platters were plated with extra silver to be used in hospitality for hotels and restaurants. They have a lovely gadroon (rope style) rim and are solid and weighty. Perfect for serving food at a dinner party, shower, wedding and would be lovely pieces to add to your hotel silver collection for use and display.
Marks: International Silver Co Silver Soldered 05062 16 In and 59 in a square to indicate the date
Measurements: approx 16 1/4" long x 11 5/8" wide and approx 1 1/4" deep
These platters are in good, vintage condition. May have expected signs of use such as light scratches, tiny dings and marks inherent to silver soldered items. No obvious damage that I can see.
