Vintage, brass, folding fireplace screen/ fan that folds out like a peacock tail. The main body resembles a winged Griffin or Gargoyle. There are latches on each side to keep the fan closed when not in use. Has a finial on the top to make it easy to move. Beautiful decor for your hearth.
Measurements: approx 27" tall and 8" wide when closed. 38" wide when opened.
This fireplace screen is in good vintage condition. May have standard signs of use such as light surface scratches, possible tiny dings, dust and or tarnish. This is a vintage/ antique item so may need some lubrication for ease of opening and closing. No obvious damage.
