Lovely, vintage, tea set with tilting pot from Birmingham Silver Co/ BSC. The set includes coffee pot, tilting teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl. Each serving piece has scrolling leaves on the handles and feet, grapes and leaves around the middles of all the bodies (except for the tilting pot), bulbous shaped bodies, the tilting pot has very slight reticulation (see pic) and topped with grapes and leaves finials. The tilting pot comes with a working spirit burner. Beautiful, sturdy and heavy set.
Tea/Coffee pot measure approx 11" tall x 11" wide, tilting pot 15" tall on the stand (10" tall not on the stand) x 10" wide handle to spout. Sugar bowl approx 8" tall, creamer approx 6 1/2" tall, waste bowl 5" tall.
Marks: Makers mark for Birmingham Silver Co (crown with BSC) and silver on copper.
This set appears to be in good vintage condition. May have signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, possible tarnish, tiny bruises. Insides are clean with light staining, if any. No obvious damage.
