Gorgeous, ornate, Art Nouveau, Brass Inkwell with 2 figural faces on each side. This piece has detailed designs of flowers and vines all around the faces. It's a solid and beautiful piece that would look wonderful on your desk.
Measurements: approx 11 1/2" long x 5" wide x 5 tall to the top of the finial.
Marks: None. I couldn't find any markings on the inkwell. There is a sticker on it that says "Antiques On Main St". I didn't want to peel up the sticker so perhaps there could be a marking under it.
This inkwell is in good antique condition. May have typical signs of vintage use such as slight surface scratches and some tarnish. The lid looks as if it was once possibly attached with a hinge, but no longer, but that doesn't affect its use, whatsoever. Has a beautiful, warm, patina so I didn't polish it in case the new owner prefers it.
