Antique, silver plate, jewel casket box with silk lining in pink, Washington DC souvenir by Weidlich Bros circa 1910. The fabric interior is made of pink silk. This trinket box is a Washington DC souvenir and in great condition for its age. The silver is still very shiny and intact. Very little plating loss if any. This is a lovely, historical piece and would be great for a vanity top or dresser.
Box measures 4.75" long, approx 3.25" wide and approx 3 1/2" in height to highest point.
Marks: Weidlich Bros stamp on the bottom with A78
This jewel casket is in good antique condition for it's age and use especially for being silver plated. May have some dust and slight signs of use (surface scratches, dust). Possible tarnish. There is a scratch on on side of the rim when the box is opened. The silk lining is in great shape other than some light staining from age and use. No obvious damage to the outside that I can see.
