Antique, Plankinton House Hotel, silver soldered, teapot by Reed and Barton. Plankinton House Hotel was a grand, 450 room hotel that opened in 1884 in Milwaukee, WI. In 1915 it closed and was torn down. This piece is a personal sized teapot from the hotel. Here is your chance to own a rare and lovely piece of history. This is in lovely, shiny condition. Great for display and use.

Marks: Plankinton House Reed & Barton Silver Soldered 358 8oz

Measurements: approx 3" tall x 6" handle to spout

This teapot is in great, antique condition. May show some signs of age and use such as light surface scratches and the usual marks inherent to silver soldered items. Inside is clean. In the picture with lid open there was tarnish. I absentmindedly forgot to polish that part :-/. No obvious damage that I can see.
