Lovely, antique, silver plate, celery vase/ candle holder/ dish, figural floral by J.W. Tufts circa late 1800s. Features figural flowers on the handles and along the rim. Gorgeous detailing!
Measurements: approx 8" tall x 5 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" diameter. The inside bottom diameter is 2 5/8”, the upper diameter is 3 3/8”. From bottom to top of shorter rim is 2 ¾” tall. To the top of the handles is 4”.
Marks: J.W. Tufts Boston Triple Plate 2458
This item is in good, antique condition. This is even more beautiful in person. Has some light surface scratches, small areas of stubborn tarnish and 2 small spots on base that are either stubborn tarnish or wear to the silver (see third to last pic). No obvious damage.
