This pitcher is still extremely shiny. The main body is a matte silver (by design) and the rest is regular shiny. Has expected signs of age and use such as possible dings and surface scratches. The inside bottom has spots of plating loss from use. The lid has denting, and tiny split, towards the hinge and a bruise on one side of the pitcher. There is typical wear on the handle and part of the lid, but it looks much better in person than in pictures. No other damage noted. This piece is very lovely in person.
