Antique, silver plate, sugar bowl/ lidden urn with figural boy playing flute on top. This design is from the aesthetic movement and has a heavy Greek Revival influence. Gorgeous details of Greek God face on the handles and warrior (Hoplite) faces on the rim. The body has leaf and fern etchings. Breathtaking piece of history.
Measurements: approx 9 1/2" tall with lid, 7" tall without lid x 8" wide handle to handle, 4 3/4" diameter body.
