Lovely, antique, full tea set/ coffee service, by Gorham Silver Co circa 1916. This beautiful set includes coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl. Each serving piece has a bulbous body and sits on a round base. One side of each piece has a monogram of "EEM". But you don't need to have the same initials to enjoy the set, the monogram doesn't stand out. A beautiful set to display and use.
Coffee and Tea pot measure approx 9" tall x 9" wide handle to spout and 7" tall x 9 1/2" wide
Sugar approx 6" tall x 8" wide, creamer approx 5" tall x 6" wide, waste bowl 3 1/2" tall x 6" wide.
Marks: GMCO EP 0143 and the date mark for 1916
This set is in good antique condition.. May have some typical signs of use such as light surface scratches, possible polish residue, tiny dings, etc.The insides look clean except for some light staining inside one of the pots. The sugar bowl has flea bites in the bottom (see pics), but that shouldn't affect its use. No obvious damage.
