Gilt framed, small, hand painted, oil painting of cow in ornate, gold finished frame. The painting is a hand painted reproduction of an antique painting of a short horn cow mid 1800s in the style of British painter, Henry Stafford's "A Shorthorn Cow". The painting is done by me and not a mass item purchased overseas. It features a short horn cow in a pastoral setting near a barn. I absolutely LOVE these cows and originally thought they were rectangular by exaggeration of the artists painting them--ok, a little bit by exaggeration. However, the shorthorn cow has more of a squared off rump and a rectanugular-ish body than regular cows. The colors in this painting are creams, browns, greens, golds and blue. It's framed in an ornate, gold/gilded frame. The artwork is 5"x 5" and in a 12" x 12" frame. Ready for hanging.
Measurements: Frame 12" tall x12" wide x 2” depth.
Marks/ Signatures: None
