Large Antique Silver Plate Coffee Urn Insulated Dispenser Tea Urn Reed And Barton

Antique, silver plate, insulated, coffee urn/ samovar/ dispenser circa late 1800s by Reed and Barton. This coffee urn is very large and more than likely used in a hotel or restaurant. Holds 224 ounces...that's 1 3/4 gallons! The extra large body is urn shaped with beaded decor along the rim, top and bottom of the base and tiered on the lid. Has leafy handles and a cathedral style lid and unique finial. This urn can hold hot or cold beverages--think hot cocoa bar (an idea one of my customers shared with a previous purchase :-)) or to hold punch or mimosas. This item is very hard for me to let go (I've fallen in love), but I can't keep everything I like. Here is your chance to own a stunning piece! Absolutely gorgeous and heavy. The coffee/ tea urn is in great antique condition. Shows some standard signs of age and use such as some dings, slight bruises (more like very slight waves which could have been made in the manufacturing process), light surface scratches, possible tarnish and polish residue. The lid has more obvious dings and bumps (see pics), but just cosmetic. There is a slight rattle when the urn is moved. The inside is very clean. No other obvious damage
