Vintage, silverplate, oval serving tray, Regent by Reed and Barton circa 1941. The rim and handles are adorned with shells and scrolls. There is a monogram in the middle which looks like OFC, but it is very ornate and can easily blend with the etchings on the tray. Gorgeous piece to use for serving and to use for display.
Measurements: approx 26" long handle to handle, 23 1/4" without handles x 17 5/8" wide.
Marks: Reed And Barton C5600 D4 23 and a lantern (which is the date mark for 1941) Regent
The tray is in good, vintage condition. May show some signs consistent with age and use like light surface scratches. No obvious damage I can see.
