Vintage, large, Silver Soldered, serving bowl/ dish circa 1940. The bowl is double handled with a rope design around the rim and does have an area that looks like it once had an emblem of sorts that has been purposely removed. My thoughts are that it was USN mark as many other items similar to it in style have been so. The serving bowl is very shiny and gorgeous and very solid.
Marks: International Silver Co Silver Soldered 01360 and 40 in a square indicating the year
Measurements: approx 12 1/4" wide handle to handle, 10 1/4" diameter, 3" tall to top of rim.
This bowl is in good vintage condition for it's age and use. Show some signs of age such as light surface scratches and the usual marks/ tiny dings inherent to silver soldered items. Super shiny and beautiful. No obvious damage that I can see.
Please Note: This listing is for the covered bowl only. Anything else in the photographs is for props. Some prop items are available in my store. If it isn't, and you are interested in purchasing, please convo me and I'll see if I have it available to list.
