Large, vintage, Silver Soldered, US Navy, teapot for Wardroom Officer's Mess circa 1963. Has USN With Fouled Anchor on the front. Sturdy and elegant, this teapot has an arched handle and the rope design around the body. Beautiful piece of history and in great condition.
Marks:The bottom of the piece International Silver Co (slightly scratched out) 138 01240 22 oz and the number 63 in a square (indicative of the date)
Measurements: approx 5 1/2" tall x 9" wide handle to spout.
This teapot is in great vintage condition for it's age and use. Show some signs of age such as light surface scratches. Super shiny and beautiful. No dents or dings or plating loss. the inside is clean. No obvious damage that I can see.
