Gorgeous, antique, silverplate, double vegetable/ covered dish with divided glass insert by Poole. Both silverplate pieces are embellished with a floral and swag design. The top piece has handles. There is a divided glass insert that fits in the bottom. Both pieces can be used for serving or the top as a lid to keep the food warm. A gorgeous matching set that will look amazing at dinner parties, luncheons and holiday meals.
Measurements: bottom dish measures approx 11 1/2" long x 9" wide x 1 3/4" deep top measures approx 11 1/2" long handle to handle, 9 5/8" long without handles x 6 7/8" wide x 1 1/2" deep.
Marks: Bristol Silver By Poole 24 (the marks are a little faded)
This dish is in good antique condition. May have typical signs of use such as slight surface scratches, tarnish and possible wear. Bottom under the glass has a few scratches. Glass is in good condition. No obvious damage that I can see.
