Rare find, Towle Contessina, coffee and tea set service, circa 1967. The set includes coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl with lid and creamer. Each serving item has floral repousse lid on squatty, bulbous bodies. the teapot and coffee pot have warm colored wooden handles. The coffee pot and sugar bowl have wood finials. I'm not sure if this was intended or if they were replaced. Beautiful, sturdy and heavy set.

This set is in good vintage condition. Has typical signs of use such as light surface scratches, a very slight bruise on one side of the teapot (so slight I couldn't capture it--see pics). There are a few areas with heavier scratches, but it doesn't go through the plating and doesn't detract from the loveliness of the set. The insides of the pots are in good condition. The creamer has a few spots at the bottom that just look darker. It doesn't appear to be plating loss and it isn't pitting or corrosion. Not sure if finials for coffee pot and sugar bowl are original. No other obvious damage or plating loss.
