Vintage, 5 piece, silverplate, tea set /coffee service with tray. The set includes a coffee pot, teapot, sugar, creamer and tray. Each lovely piece has floral and leaf handles, spouts, feet and finial and pear shaped bodies. The tray has a gadroon/ rope design on the rim and handles. This set is gorgeous!
Tray measuring approx 25 3/4" hand to handle, 21 1/2" without handles and 15 3/4" wide. Coffee and Tea pot measure approx 10" tall x 9" wide handle to spout and 9" tall and 9 3/4" handle to spout. Sugar 6" tall x 6" wide handle to handle and Creamer measure approx 5 3/4" tall and 5" wide handle to spout.
Marks: Academy Silver on Copper 5140 5150 5160. The tray is from Wm Rogers and Son Spring Flower. I acquired it as a set.
This set is in great vintage condition. Typical signs of vintage age and use such as possible light surface scratches and possible areas of tarnish and polish residue. Insides look great (see pics). No obvious damage.
