Vintage, brass, fireplace screen/ fan that folds out like a peacock tail. The main body has an Art Nouveau style with a profile of a woman's face. There is a latch on each side to keep the fan closed when not in use. The ornate finial also serves as a handle to make moving easier. Timeless decor for your hearth.
Measurements: approx 27 " tall and 7" wide when closed. Base is approx 10" wide. 38" wide when opened. *May be disassembled for ease of shipping.
This fireplace screen is in good vintage condition. May have standard signs of use such as light surface scratches, possible tiny dings and tarnish. I didn't polish the screen because it has a warm patina which most people desire. If you prefer a shiny, brass, this can easily be polished. This is a vintage/ antique item so may need some lubrication for ease of opening and closing--although I feel it opens and closes pretty easily. No obvious damage.
