Stately, large, Neoclassical, Alexander Backer/ ABCO, boy bust. Measuring approx 16.5" tall and is a reproduction of Jean-Antoine Houdon's sculpture. This bust is ivory/ off-white color and made of plaster or chalkware. The bottom is green felt to protect the surface it stands on. Gorgeous statement piece for home or office.
Measures approx 16.5" tall x 9" wide, approx 6" depth and 5" diameter base
Marks: marks are semi worn away. ABCO and some numbers I can't make out and J'apres Houdon
This sculpture is in good vintage condition. Some expected signs of age and use such as some light scratches and marks and possible dust. No obvious damage.
