Vintage, silver soldered, Hotel Palmer House Chicago, serving tray dated 1953. This wonderful tray is from the historical Palmer House Hotel that opened on November 8, 1873, and is the nation’s longest continually operating hotel. This tray is larger like the ones used in the dining room for several people versus room service which is service for one. Beautiful piece and a lovely part of Chicago history.

Marks:The bottom reads International Silver Co, Silver Soldered, Palmer House 05101 14 In and 53 in a box which is the date mark meaning 1954

Measurements: approx 14" diameter

This tray is in decent, vintage condition for it's age and use. Show some signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, and some dings here (with one more obvious ding near the middle) and there and very slight wear on the bottom. No obvious damage that I can see.
