Vintage, silver plate, convertible candelabrum/ candelabra with glass shades. This piece has tapering columns on a round base rising to urn shaped nozzles with sconces. Each rim has a detailed, floral design. The arm is covered at the joint with a floral decor. The glass shades are fluted with wavy rims. You can use them to hold fatter candles or tea lights. Remove them to use long, tapered candles. The candelabrum can come off to leave a regular tapered candle holder. It can be taken down further where the candelabrum arm is put in the bottom piece.
Measurements: approx 22" tall when fully assembled, 19" tall without glass shades x 17" wide x 5 3/4" diameter base. The candle holder without the candelabra measures 12" tall. The shortest base is approx 5" tall.
Marks: manufacturers marks for Goldfeder
The candelabra is in good vintage condition with the top removable part having some wear to the silverplate (shows some wear or dulling on the bottom of the candle cups) see pictures. Not as noticeable in person. May show signs of age and use like light surface scratches and residual candle wax. Rubber around bottom of glass shades shows signs of age, but can be replaced.No obvious damage. Overall this is absolutely gorgeous.
