Beautiful, vintage, silverplate, punch bowl set that includes large punch bowl, 12 cups, ladle and tray. The bowl is large and has a pedestal base. The cups are the lovely rolly polly style. The tray has a lovely floral design on the rim and feet. 10 of the cups sit perfectly around the bowl while on the tray. Perfect for the holidays, parties, weddings and showers.
Measurements: Bowl measures 14 1/2" diameter x 9 1/4" tall to rim of bowl. Cups measure approx 2 5/8" tall. Tray measures 17" diameter and ladle measures approx 12 1/2" long.
Marks: Sheridan Silver Co on the bottoms of the punch bowl and cups. FB Rogers on the bottom of the tray. I acquired this as a set so I didn't want to separate the pieces.
This set is in good vintage condition. Has typical signs of use such as light surface scratches and possible tarnish--some stubborn tarnish on the feet of the tray. The cups seem to be barely used. One or two of them have tooling marks on the inside from manufacturing but I don't consider this a flaw. There is a reddish spot on one or two of the cups (see pics), which I'm not sure if it's stubborn tarnish or odd wear. No obvious damage. Beautiful set!
