Vintage Silver Plate Tea Service Set Berry Finial Silver On Copper Goldfeder Silver Co

Absolutely gorgeous, silver plate full tea set /coffee service with berry finial. Each piece has a fluted, melon shaped body with gadroon detail around the top, scrolled handles and floral and leaf feet. The feet have a giant leaf with another smaller flower on it--very unique. The berry finial is this set's main feature. The set is silver on copper with some of the copper showing through the shiny silver which really makes it very stunning. Unique and beautiful set. Very solid.

Measurements: Coffee pot approx 11 1/2" tall x 10 3/4" handle to spout. Teapot 11" tall x 10 1/2" wide handle to spout, Sugar bowl 6 1/4" tall, Creamer 6 5/8" tall, Waste bowl 5" tall

Marks: Has the marks for Goldfeder Silver Co--the predecessor to Birmingham Silver Co

This set is in great vintage condition. Has standard signs of use such as slight surface scratches, small bruises and the beautiful copper base metal is showing through some areas. May have some spots of tarnish. Insides have some staining which is consistent for age and use. The hinge to the lid on the teapot isn't attached to the body. It's a clean break and can easily be soldered back on. No apparent damage I can see.
