Vintage,silver plate, 4 piece tea set by Towle from the 2851 series. Each serving item has a crossed ribbon design around the rim, handles and feet and finial. Very similar to Christofle's Rubans pattern. Beautiful, sturdy and heavy set.
Measurements: Teapot measure approx 9 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" wide handle to spout .Sugar bowl approx 6" tall, creamer approx 5" tall. Tray 24 1/2" long handle to handle, 20 1/2" without handles, 14 1/2" wide.
Marks: Towle Silver Plate 2851, 2853, 2854. Tray has Wm A Rogers on the bottom but goes with the set nicely.
This set is in good, vintage, condition. May have typical signs of use such as light surface scratches, polish residue and possible tarnish. The insides of the pots are in good condition with very light tarnish/ staining, if any. The tray has a small bruise on the rim (but not very obvious) No obvious damage.
Most of my items are vintage which are used or aged so my items are sold "as is". Refunds or exchanges are not accepted unless I erroneously forgot to mention a major flaw. My pictures aren't doctored to hide flaws so please use photos as part of the description. My items are antique and vintage. They have been loved through the years and most likely will show such.
